Question Relocating Stock Ground Wires

i've got my flame suit on just in case...and yeah i did a mild search but not an extensive one....i'm wondering if anyone has relocated their ground wires inside the engine to anywhere other than where it was before.....i just did it today...well just one of the ground wires.....did i feel a difference? i can't say i did...kuz i didn't relocate all of the wires....just one of them. so i just wanted to know if anyone has done this with their stock wires....i'm testing this out, and seeing if there is a better grounding setup than what honda had originally had....yeah, its probably been done before....and?

Probably not a good idea to mess with the stock grounds. Search DIY: GROUNDING KIT for info on an add-on kit that gives a little gain.

i got an idea for you. attach one wire to ur left ball. attach another to the right. let the current flow through.

(you said u had ur flame suit on.)

mods can edit this as they please.

i think honda knew what they were doing when they put the grounding wires there... there's a lot of engineering involved in building a car.. i think you should leave them be..

I agree, leave em be. If you want better grounding then do a diy grounding kit or buy one.

heh, you know that one vic with the red wiring on the valve cover looks like loops? I did that, plus i changed the wire from the radiator to the block with 4ga wire......I think my car starts up better...but with those denso iridiums i can hardly tell.

yeah, i was gonnna use that daisy chain method too...but i got a question...i was gonna take out my denso iridiums and replace them with some hot spark plugs like the laser ngk platinums...u think that would be a good idea? kuz i would like to feel the difference between ngk's high end platinum vs. the denso iridium....

but your setup sounds good too man...imma get that optim battery or whatever the brand is called....my bro has the red battery, i think imma get that to match the ground kit....

i dont know if Honda really did pick the very best spot. i have heard that you have to try different locations for the grounding kit, so moving the stock wires might help like 1/20 as much as the grounding kit would. seems to make sense

the optima batters just last longer, not more power. just wait till you actually need a new batt, thats what im going to do

i have the NGK lazer platnums and they work great, but i have never had the densos
