Brake Problem Please Help?
2 weeks ago I went to brake check and got a brake job done, and everything was fine after that, now everytime I come to a stop, my brakes squeal, like metal hitting metal. I went back to brake check and one manager told me that some hardware had probably moved around and they would fix it. After about one hour they gave me my car back and said everything ok now. 10 min down the road I went to stop and they started to squeal again, so I called brake check back and another manager told me thaat when he looked at my car, everything was working fine, but he said that my brakes were just getting to hot. This noise is really annyoing and loud when i stop everytime and I know that this is not normal and what do you all think the problem is and what should I do about it to make the squeal stop.
What exactly did they do for your brake job? Did they replace anything?
Sounds to me like they did a crappy job and are giving you BS about your brakes getting too hot. How the hell can brakes get too hot by just driving down the street?

I got new pads and shoes, got my drums and rotors resurfaced, and had the brake systems bleeded and flushed. I dont know about a crappy job, I have been going to brake check for over 3 yrs now and have never had this problem, it is very annoying when I stop, it is kinda embarrasing.

I went back to brake check today and the same manager was there that told me my brakes were fine and the squealing was from the brakes getting to hot, and I told him that the problem was still there and he told me the same S**T!!! and I told him that brakes are going to get hot, but shouldnt squeal so loud. well he got mad and asked if I wanted them to look at it, but the wait was over 3 hours so i left, and I went to another brake check in houston to get there opinion and they looked at the brakes and said everything looked fine and they didnt know what was causing it and offered to clean the brakes, so I let them do that. Five minutes after leaving, down the road I came to a stop and the brakes still squealed. it sounds like it is coming from the rear, but i dont know. What should I do here, this noise sounds like something that happens when you need new brakes. Should I go to the dealer and ask them?
after you resurface the rotors, your going to get that damn squeal, ive had the problem ever since i warped my rotors... Talk to honda and see what they say, i think its the cheap rotors causing this problem.

What if I hear the noise in my rear breaks, what should I do about the drums. Also i have seen cross drilled and slotted rotors on ebay for our car, are those worth getting, i have seen them for $80 a pair.
