I've worked on porsches. and I can confedently say that I dont care what some one has done to their 911, I dont care how fast it is, I dont care how well it handles. All I want to do with one deals with a VERY tall cliff and a box of TNT

When I was younger I worked at my dads autobody shop, doin R&I (Removal and Installation). We specialized in Porsche, BMW and Mercedies at the time. Long sory short, When ever a Porsche ever showed up, I was the Unlucky SOB that was volunteered to take the Damn thing appart. in 18 years of my dads shop being open, I have Yet to meet a single body tech that liked working on Porsches. an example of this, Removal of the front bumper on an E36 BMW (3 series) would take about 10 min (Probably less). removal of the Front bumper on a 911........... how about 30-40 min depending on if its a turbo or not. who ever thought it was a good Idea to put the Oil cooler in the front Right wheel well should be beaten with a pickled Trout. then theres the porblem with getting the fenders off (With out scrathing the hell out of the door). and the little thing about cuting your own fender and bumper tirm (Porsche sells the stuff in rolls rather then selling the individual pieces) THen theres the Decklid tail (ya konw the Whale tail). did you know that Friggin thing has 16 bolts holding the ruberized outer on? The new ones just get worse too...
Thanks guys I needed to vent a bit.
