i like the momo millenium evo steering wheel, but with my luck i'd get into a wreck and i would feel better with an airbag. so i'm thinkin about S2000 wheel. The SI isn't that bad at all actually

I hear that when you put the S2000 wheel on that even if its done right it sits losely. I myself am getting the steering wheel from the SI. YOu really want a pimp steering wheel go for the JDM S2000 VGS (Variable Gear ratio Steering) wheel. Well over 1k alone for the wheel.

The Insight has nearly, if not the same exact wheel as the S2K. Maybe the Insight one is cheaper?? Really small and it does look cool, but I don't know if its worth the effort.

just remember that swaping steering wheels is illegal and could be a costly ticket.

What cop is gonna recognize the difference between an S2000, Si, Insight steering wheel versus a stock Civic wheel?

Unless they are a huge 7thgen fan like us, they'll never know the difference.

Besides, you'll still have to airbag and everything.

NO its not illegal in anyway to swap a steering wheel. What is illegal is selling a car w/o an airbag when it was originally equipped w/ airbags in the steeringwheel.
Keep OEM steeringwheel, problem solved.

The SI steering wheel is nice, but there's only one thing that made me not buy it and stick it on my car... the red stitching. I'm not a big fan of the color red so I guess that steering wheel is out of the question for me.

On the illegal steering wheel note, it's alright to switch out your steering wheel under certain conditions:

1.) If your car comes with an airbag stock, then the steering wheel you switch into the car must be equiped with an airbag as well.

2.) If your car does not come with an airbag stock, then you can swap to anything you want.

Dunno if this is true, but a cop told me this so yea. You guys switching to s2000 or SI steering wheels are OK as long as you hooked up your airbags, but then again who checks if the airbag works or not???

THe air bags will work and as far as the red stitching goes i think it would go perfect with my color scheme as well as match with the 02 SI shift ****
