how long did you have the phone?? it should be under warranty. or since tmobile dont have a insurance on their phones u can get new one for like 70 i think

Don't know much about cell phones, but I thought T-mobile and Cingular were basically the same companies and you can use either type of phones for both plans? But if you're lookin for a phone from T-Mobile I'll see what I can find.

Call T-Mobile and tell them your phone is broken and you need a new one. Tell them the screen stopped working for something...any reason that makes it seem like its a manufacturers defect. They should have no choice but to send you a replacement. You should get a "new" used phone in a few days, but you have to send back the broken one.

I've done this twice before and it worked for me. One time I sent them back my broken fone which was in 3 pieces and they ever contacted me about it nor did they charge me replacement fees that they said I might need to pay.
