Painting rims

Painting rims
I have these rims below in silver right now, but curb damaged. I'm repainting them, the gunmetal version on my rims are the first pic. What's everyone think? Or i might go white.

Rep Power: 0 aight, since mine have curb damage, what? do they just paint over it or do they have to like sand that down? i got like bald steelies to roll around in, how long u think its gonna take them to paint them?

we either settle this in a fierce race of the century between both our LX ATs...
or i just let it slide and let you have gunmetal rims cuz they are f*cken dope!

BTW, What's your LX? Auto or stick? 
If you don't want gunmetal because of that, why not just get the next best color? A black near-glossy finish like on Andrews wheels?
EDIT: Don't get white. White would ruin the essence of the car's dark sparkling color when you can have the chance to have shiny black wheels, hehe. I just personally think white rims deserve to be on white cars.
