i wanted to get this indash but i wanted to know what u guys think about it first. is Screen Resolution good??

i've seen it installed in 2 cars before and i thought the screen looked great, but i saw an alpine in dash dvd player and i thought the screen looked a little better (the picture quality), to me, it wasn't all that much better however. i dont know the specs on the alpine, but i remember something about the clarion having a touch screen display, optional inputs for a rear view camera and it comes with a stow away 5.1 decoder. the clarion seems cool to me, but i've heard lots of good things about alpine and pioneer, sorry i dont have specific model numbers, but i'm sure someone with respond with alpine and pioneer info.

which one do u think is better the kenwood KVT-911DVD or Clarion VRX935VD 7 DVD?

i really dont care for kenwood, but thats not to say its a bad product, kenwood products have just never appealed to me. but looking at the specs on both of the units.
kenwood has 4.5volt pre outs while clarion has 4 volt, and the kenwood also has a 115db signal to noise ratio and 3 second anti shock memory for DVD's while clarion has a 100db signal to noise and no anti shock memory. now i really doubt that the signal to noise makes that much of a difference in the kenwood, but the anti shock memory has to help, having no anti shock might make the DVD skip, but i really dont know for sure.
the clarion however is cheaper at crutchfield by $100, has a 3 band EQ while kenwood has 2 bands, and it also plays MP3's.
between the clarion and kenwood, just for the simple fact that the clarion plays mp3's, i'd get that.

yea the kenwood is 6.5" and the clarion 7" so i think i'm going with the clarion.
