"As you approach the locked vehicle, sensors instantly recognize your Bulgari-designed key FOB even without retrieval from a pocket, purse, or briefcase. If all verification conditions are met, the door or trunk will unlock and then unlatch at your command." - www.cadillac.com

So you don't have to press a button or anything just get close to the car and reach for the door. The door will then unlock and open for you. This works for the trunk as well.

i dun trust this system...good ol fashioned key entry is most trustworthy, cause batteries n **** get annoying if you're outa power or somethin. Great idea tho, but it makes no sense so far as to how the machine will recognize its owner. If its a complicated fingerprint scanner, it will not be at an affordable cost. The cadillac ones scans the FOB so that's really easy and cheap to do, but if your gonna scan organic parts of the human body and ****, its not gonna be cheap.

No dude it won't scan organic parts. I guess what it does is that it senses when you or the FOB is close enough to open the door for you. Also once the FOB is in the car you can push start the engine no need for a key.

This sounds cool, mostly the part about the push start button, but I have to disagree with you EManEX.
Quote from the article:
"To open the door, the driver presses a button on a key fob to activate the sensor. As the driver approaches, the handle senses the driver's hand, electronically releases the latch and opens the door."

So I dont see what is that much different than the door popped you still have to enage the "key fob" by pressing a button.
