anything like that exist? was just sitting around and thought how cool would that be. in detailing the "digital rpm indicator" for those of you who have GT3 for PS2, that little bar at the bottom of the screen when driving that shows the rpm in little LED bars, with a digital LED readout of the speed is what im talkin about. is there anythying like that that could be added to a car in general without swapping out the stock gagues and dash? anyone get this cause i dont think im explainin right.....

Honestly . . I saw a member mention on here that he has digital gauges, or was going to get them .. So I know it can be done, and I've seen digital guages before in magazines. So I would think if you looked through some import magazines and surfed the web you could find them.

The Mugen SI has digital guages, don't know if it will work with other cars but it might be worth looking into. I read it in Import Racer so that might give you a start.

I and an engineer at my workplace are working on a Digital Cluster that has a "Ghostlike" appearance with all digital readouts. Working out the prototype circuitry and code this weekend. Looking pretty good right now. Have to speak to a couple TFT screen fabricators about making round'ish guages as screens...May just use 1 big screen if that is too costly...Just have it shaped to the cluster and install it right over where the other cluster would go. It's going to be an interesting project. If it goes well, we 'MAY' sell them as plug n' play systems. (of course that might be a little hard to do with at least 'some' re-work of the wiring where the cluster is to attach to the new one, but it will be as exact as we can get it)

Sivion: I'm interested in how it goes. Hope you're accepting feedback from others. I was thinking about doing the same but so far too complex. I hope you make the gauges programmable/skinnable to add additional features.

I'm capable of writing an API for this sort of thing in general, however it's the electronics that baffles me. Not sure which wires do what.
