which will win? 350Z (Track) or S2000 both stock

1/4 mile.... havent a clue.
Autocross... both are B-Stock and the 350 hasnt really made much of a showing yet (Still too new). It will be interesting as to how they show in a class that has been dominated by the S2000 for the last couple of years. The S2000 is lighter (2810lbs Vs 3188lbs, 378lbs difference), but the 350 has a better power to weight ratio(11.1lbs per Hp vs 11.7lbs per hp). the weight distribution leads me to believe that the S2000 will handle a bit better(49/51 vs 53/47, the Z looks to be a littel bit nose heavy). It will be interesting to see which one does better, but I dont think either one will "Dominate" the other.

Rep Power: 401 S2000 vs 350Z in the 1/4 mile is a driver's race. However, make sure you can launch good in any stoplight race against one. Believe it or not, the S2k has the advantage before 70mph.

Rep Power: 0 if u got your 350Z u better hope u find a stock or stock auto GT or your one hell of a driver cause the fastest Z ive seen run at the track outta about 5-8 was 14.3...my friend with his V6 auto Altima runs the same as a 350Z with his Intake and Exhaust..

Rep Power: 0 well hey dont believe if u cant...but until u actually go to the track and see it with your own eyes like i did...then u cant say much....and S2000Man yes they must all be shitty drivers cause they ran that time and could of lost to my friends altima...its just life man, this kinda stuff will happen...
and vincenzobar yes my friends Altima does run those 14.3's and he was running faster with his 4 door auto family car than some of those 350 Z's and half of those EVO's there....my friends and i kept on telling him to race the EVO's cause his average was better than theirs..but he wanted to run one of the Z's but when my friend told him what he was running and showed him the slips the guy in the Z backed down...trust me i cant believe it myself...cause my friend with the altima is a shitty driver....hopefully next time where at the track i can get some vids for u guys just to show u some reality k...haha jk

Rep Power: 401 Yes, though they do share the same engine, the Altima engine has no where near the performance output of the 350Z engine.
I never said you didn't see anyone run those times.
However, if you think the 350Z is no faster than an altima, you are sorely mistaken. the 350Z is a high 13 second car stock. Period. There's no argument there... it's simple fact.
And for reference, an average driver in an S2k will have a faster 0-60 time than an average driver in a 350Z

Rep Power: 0 The S2K will beat the 350z in 1/4 mile. Went to the drags yersterday and the 350z got its *** handed to him by the S2k twice. Either the driver of the Z diodn't know how to race his **** or it just doesn't compare to the S2k in the 1/4.

NOW.... if you go roadster vs roadster, then yes the S2000 roadster will have a nice advantage over the 350Z roadster.

Rep Power: 0 FWIW, a car is only as good as its driver. thats the reason alot of people can beat cars they normally wouldnt be able to. so IMO its pointless to argue with car is better because (A.) 90 percent of a car is personal opinion and (2) even if a car is capable of say 13.0 in the 1/4 mile, it would take a good driver to extract that time. you guys see what im saying here? not trying to **** in anyones pool or anything thats just my opinion. and as far as my personal opinion goes, i like the 350.
