Angry my trip to the dealership

i came at 10 am. i had printed a sheet out with all the Technical service bulletins
that my car is affected by and showed it to the service guy.

A. my seat rocks back in forth. this is caused by faulty or weak
busshing design in the 01 models

B. rear deck 40/60 seat release lock is tight and hard to turn. this
is caused by the locking rod design being too long

C. Trunk release lever is doesnt work. i dont know honda's official
reason for it not working but i do know why it doesnt work. its becuase of
they used plastic peices in the locking mechanism which is easily warped and
broken.

D. Tranny is jerky accelerating from a near complete stop. dont know
the reason for this eeither but i hear on 7thgencivic.com alot of 01 trannies
been going out prematurely.

6.. yes 6 hours later its done. they tell me:
A new seat rail has been ordered for me under warrenty

the rear deck seat lock peice is also been ordered under warrenty

Trunk release they did not touch becuase they accuse me of breaking
it or ive been in an accident. this is BS!!!

for the tranny they flush and refill my fluid under warrenty

so for the trunk release i have fixed it myself. they are being cheap and not replaceing it .. those MFer's now i have to wait for the parts to come in and then wait another lonnng *** time for them to fix it.

i work at an auto repair shop and tranny flush only take 1 hours\!!! at most.. and ordering parts prollie takes 10 minutes.. why in the hell was i there for 6 hours!!!!

GRrr

philadelphia honda's service center = BOOOO

they probably think they can give me shotty service just becuase the dealership is located in the city.

next time im taking my car to a honda dealership in smaller nearby county's.
i took my dads benz to the dealership located outside the city and the service was excellent.

Prolly cause you werent in the earliest and your car sat for a while before they actually touched it....Then there was alot of different things wrong with your car, and it takes time to find out what the problems are...and also to see if the parts are in, and then since they werent...they had to see about ordering them....

I had the same problem with my seat...They had to order new bushings...after they fixed it is 100% better....

I am moving this post because it doesnt belong in general ramblings....moving to vehicle issues
