**My new ride** well guys, driving my civic to csuf back and forth was fun until i hit 20,000 miles in less then a year. and now with the body kit and all that stuff i dont really wanna drive me 2002 that much anymore...so without any further wait, i present you...my new ride!!
this is my 95 honda civic lx 4dr, i am gonna keep my 7thgen in the garage and use this as my beater car. im gonna do some stuff to it but not much.
Future Mods to my 5thcivic sedan:
-repainted EBP
-H&R sport springs
-stock 2001-2002 EX tires/hubs
-H.I.D's
-possibly a mugen style lip kit
-very very lightly tint the windows
-my sub setup from my 7thgen
-and the little things like a broadway mirror and getting the tailights changed to the "white bar on top red bar on bottom" style (no these arent altezzas :-P)

Rep Power: 0 i didnt pay for it, my family doesnt want to sell it, and this was my first car so i have a personal connection to it :-D hehe, but yeah its been in the family since we bought it for my sister in 95 who has a BMW now...i dont want to make a car i put about 4k into a beater car. im not gonna spend more then 1500 on my 95 and most of it is going to the paint job. im planning on keeping this civic as well as my 7thgen forever, and make my kids appreciate them when i give them year 2024 civics.

but yeah my beater is a 2000 civic LX

me & LiLaSiiAn8 are getting flamed on for wanting beater cars well the only reason i want one is to use is on long rides and work-related ( job that requires driving ) plus kinda already put alota of money in car and planning to do alot of engine work..so i dun wanna wear out my car too fast even though its a "civic" 
A beater car is supposed to be just that -- a car you beat (don't mind being rough w/) By adding this and that, paint job, etc, you're just turning it into something more delicate. My advice -- leave it bone stock if you're using it as a run around car. Lowering it, putting a lip kit, etc makes it VERY uncomfortable to drive and have peace of mind. (and yes i know this thread is old)

Rep Power: 0 dood this thread is way old, well heres a little update...my parents actually did end up selling that civic for 2500 to a friend of mine, so no i am not driving my beater car but i am selling a roof spoiler :-D. hmmm strange
