Street Racing In Anaheim
Due to the semi-request in another thread, I decided to let you all in on how Turtle714 and I got rolled on for Street Racing.
Last Thursday we went to Sonics in Fullerton (Lemon and Orangethorpe) as usual. Mike had gone before but we hadnt gotten the opportunity to run. So, we were goin to a track by my house, but jammed since we saw a couple on white trucks just pop outta nowhere when we got there. Then we went back to Sonics and 1 of the foos in the sub followed us. He jammed after a group that took off and so we figured it was our best chance to get a run in since that guy was gone. We took off to another track and met up. Mike and I lined up, we took off and that was that. We slowed down and were about to split when I saw Mike trying to tell me something. I look up in my mirror and the street behind me is filled up (both sides of the street) with Anaheim's finest. So we went to the sides and had all that fun. All in all, we got busted, and our cars impounded for 30 days. It was the chopper that got us, so....

About 1200 to get your car back. Impound fees plus per day charges. Hope they are taking care of it too. 1000 dollar fine. Six month suspended or restricted license (if you are lucky), 18 month probation. Plus driver's education classes, time lost for work due to trials.

Well here, its about 25 bucks a day for impound so gonna cost like 7 bills for the car, then court fees is like another 350-400 bucks. Big chuck of change for the wallet. Damn i really learned my leason, did u Nodnero? heheh
I thought there was a new law that says if youre caught street racing that you get you car impounded and you dont get it back? Maybe it hasnt passed yet but youre lucky that its only 30 days. Be safe!
Yea getting caught suxs..I was very lucky when i got caught..well not lucky but not as bad..the officer pulled me over and told me why i did it and stuff and he only gave me a ticket and thats it...went to court $500 fine and 2 points on license and thats it..the thing that suxed was my mom and dad were paying for my insurance it waz really cheap because my mom is a teacher and they had some special thing for us but once it got those 2 points the insurance company kicked me out and now i pay about $3600 a year for insurance and i have to pay for it now
BIG MISTAKE..only way i race now if i go to the track..

Actually, Im very lucky so far but Im sure its about to run out. I got my car back yesterday, Impound fees were $255 and there was a $10 fee at Anaheim Police for the Post Storage Hearing Form. Now I just have to wait for the ticket and see how many points they give me.

ehh so you were at a ricer hangout and left to go race huh. that stuff sucks. Id say u bust out some teckademics mischief and hide out in some trash area and cover ur cars with cardboard boxes. lol. NExt time save that for the track or go out to the country and find a nice long straight no traffic road.

Well just gotta wait till 30 days and i get my car back. Guess wat too three days after that my sister got into a car accident and now me and her dont have a car. Plus my half-sister totaled her Acura TL (not her fault) . Its so hard to get around now. I swear my family has a curse this month with cars.

Yeh i second that, no more racing for meeh...i wouldnt do it even if my daily driven car was like a skyline or something. Any donations is real appreciated. I have to work OT now, so working 6 days a week, pay for my car bill each month, pay for insurance, phone bill, gas, and food. Yeh this is basically my life for now on for a while. Im like living off each pay check barely now. And again any funds is really appreciated.

Palabra. But then again, if I had a skyline, I woulda jammed on the cops. No Crown Vic woulda been able to keep up with even a slightly tuned Skyline let alone a fully tuned one!!!

Yeah, and the helicopter was on my ***. Had either one of us split, one of us woulda gotten away, the other screwed since there was only 1 chopper.
