is there some thing wrong with my car??

or is it that i lost my bottom end with the headers w/high flow cat and catback??

V8 Explorers are crazy fast.. I got my *** handed to me by a V8 Tundra, and my friends Explorer Sport beat the same tundra. Even tho they are heavy, the v8's torque is just too much to overcome from a dig.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I have a 2002 honda civic EX manual and i can smoke those cars. And my car is stock. My friend has a 98 Ford explorer has chip, intake, and exaust. At the beging i run kinda equal then i hit 2nd and then i smoke them. With the sport my friend has a stick and i can still smoke him too. How big of piping did you get ?

i raced my friend's 98 explorer, it is stock and an automatic. i took him off the line and lead the whole time. when i reached about 70- 75 mph i started to slow down because i was scared of the cops. I was suprised to see that he was still able to keep up with me, i thought i would leave him in the dust. He was like right behind me, i was only a car length or maybe even less in fornt of him. i have a manual civic dx.

18 wheelers have more torque than me? Whats your point? If your basing how fast a car can accelerate based on torque.... well... I dont think I need to say anymore.. youv already exposed yourself for the fast and furious tuner that you are.

Very true. Trucks and SUV's though having much more torque than the civic, use that torque differently. The way their transmission are set and the way they are geared uses that torque for massive pulling power. But this doesn't get them off the line quickly.

It all matters how the torque is used... that's even more important than how much of it there is.

Nah, those Explorers aren't too fast. I've beaten a '95 or '96 before. Whoever got the best launch won, basically.

yes me and my elite fandthef tuning gets me far in life, and we arent racing 18 wheelers here are we buddy. im talking about an suv even due to the extensive amount of weight they have compared to a vic they will still be able to take them off the line usually. So uh what exactly makes me a "fast and the furious tuner" ...please elaborate
