i cant find this and i searched but dont have alot of time but onto the ? since i took off my resinator will i still be able to pass emissions. im thinkin i can because if i still have the cat on it should pass right? isnt the res just for sound restriction? i just had the res taken off last week and emissions are probably comin soon and i dont feel like putting the res back on. thanks for the help

^ it only takes a few minutes to put back on, I'd put it on just for peace of mind, who wants to pay for an emissions tests twice?

But it is there for sound reasons, your louder without it of course. I dont know about your state, but in OR we have sound restrictions as well, which could be an issue for you- especially if you have some loud exhaust setup.

All in all you should be fine, but like I said, I'd put it back on just for the peace of mind, and then take it off again if thats what you want.

isnt the resonator part of the catback pipe?? i know i had mine removed, and had a straight pipe put in its place, so no easy reinstall for me... luckily no emissions restrictions here

well im in md and emissions is only like 10 bucks, and id rather not pay another 60 to put it back on and take it back off so thats another 120 on top of the first 60 and thats 180. its no easy install its a weld. the noise is fine but im just talking about the actuall emissions. and the cat is diff from the res youd deff fail if you didnt have a cat and its illegal and could cost 2500 for you takin it off.
