GUYS/GALS-YOUR HELP NOW PLEASE!!! Guys/Gals, ak (Alex) who is a hella beloved moderator and member has his picks on a website without his permission. He has tried numerous times to get them off this website in a very professional and courteous manner and they are basically laughing at him. He has also done numerous other things to stop them using his ride without permission or compernsation, they still have not taken down the pics. Please e-mail them at the following e-mail address and let them know how wrong this is and to take them down immediately or get Alex's permission to use them and compensate him very well for it. Please be professional, direct, and polite. We do not want to stoop to their level at all. Basically, this is strength in numbers and all of us bugging the hell out of them and demanding action for our beloved moderator and member. I thank you kindly and ask you e-mail them now and let everyone you know to e-mail them as well if they have any relation to this at all. Again, thank you guys/gals for we need to stick together and this is flat out wrong.

If those pictures were taken from this site, then they are copyrighted by Derek. He can pursue charges against streetstyler for stealing the images.

It is perfectly understandable that a mistake could be made in posting the pictures if someone else said they owned them. However, they do/did not. After that, I feel it is dishonest to use those pictures without either the consent of Alex or without him getting some sort of compensation. I am under the impression he's not looking for compention, and feel the best way to aleviate this problem is to remove the pictures from your website. Thank you for your time.

found out and decided that he should send a courteous e-mail instead of a demand. instead streetstyler laughed at him. they are using his car without his consent and without compensation.it's like you draw a picture, hang it on your wall and some *** starts using your picture to advertise his crappy book of pictures without giving you proper credit or compensation for your original picture. The picture was sent by a customer and this other person has not shown any
copyright material. I'm sorry but we sold a customer the front lip and we
asked for a product shot and that is what was sent. Unfortunately I cannot
justify your request because the only proof I have is a customer replying to
our request. Show some Copyright proof prior to the dates you have
contacted us about this and we will remove the picture since that would be
the right thing to do. For now we are in control of our own site and will
not spend the money to remove the picture just because someone emailed us
claiming its their picture with no Copyright material. Its not that we
don't believe you at all, its you have not proved anything. Legal action
would be a waste of time because you have no legal proof at this time.
There are even a few cars on that page and this guy hasn't even told us
which one is his. And if you want to take legal action we will be more than
happy to show how we did not take the image but was given it upon request.

I was takin a look through your site, and was impressed with some of the pics you have, nice stuff! However, in the example for the type B lip kit for the 01 + Civic, you are using pictures of someone's car that HASN'T given consent for you to use them...now I know you've gotten emails from a lot of other people before me, and you've given them all the same answer. But just between you and me, wouldn't it be a heck of a lot easier just to remove the pics, and skip all this crap? It can't cost you anything, and if it does, it'll be worth the price of sleeping at night without wondering if some guy's going to sic his lawyers on you.
Just do the right thing and remove the pics. Heck, i can recommend a good photochopper who would be GLAD to make a "Type B lip kit" picture for you!.

Rep Power: 0 Okay, so we know Alex's pic is copyrighted by D. so we need to use that angle and he is claiming he does not know which car is Alex's.
Alex, could you please make it clear to him which car is yours even though I'm sure you already have? I feel this all may not be worth it to him and he may be close to removing it so atleast he can know which car is yours to remove.
We need to get proof that it is copyrighted by D. to show him this and Alex can talk with him about either removing the pic or properly compensating Alex for the use of it.

He said this will be the case until he hears back from the supposed customer who sent them to him. THANK YOU D. and everyone else! For now, they are removed until this mystery customer proves they are his pictures.
