Rep Power: 291 Operation: beat freddy
So, my summer project is almost done.
I spent a wad of cash pimping my car, despite thinking I'd never want to.
I bought a bunch of go-fast bits, in hopes of going faster than freddy
I've got all the parts installed, but it still needs some tweaking. For instance, the header has three joints, where it just slides into itself, and it's leaking at all three joints. I need to seal that up...right now boost isn't hitting until 4500rpm's, when it's supposed to hit at 2700-3000.
Other small stuff includes getting it professionally tuned, but, I have to setup an appointment for that fun stuff. I'm also going to install a fuel pressure gauge, cuz I was having a fuel leak where the injectors meet the new fuel rail.
I know shandon can't beat freddy, so hopefully I can give freddy a run for his money.
I can't wait till this is done....it's already stupid-fast...I can't imagine what she'll be like when it's all done!

Rep Power: 0 your a bunch of wussies, you wait till next summer once I'm awd as well, neither of you will have much of a chance.
PS: I got hooked up with some mercedez tranny fluid and now I can shift like butter, just that alone will cut atleast 0.1 second off my time, I'm not at 14.0 @ whatever.

Rep Power: 291 ...hopefully i can get the majority of the tweaking done this weekend, and then get it tuned soon.
right now she pops/backfires when shifting and letting off the gas at high rpm's. it sounds cool, but it's gonna seriously shorten the turbo's life.
it's actually quite similar to Sudo Kyouichi's EVO III in initial-d...the backfiring keeps the turbo spooled between shifts. it sounds cool and performs cool...but at $1000 a turbo, I wouldn't want to be replacing it every year. hehehe
