Yo d00dz
Just thought I'd let you guys know that my car caught fire the other day. I took the car to a company which will remain nameless, and they double sealed the fukking filter.
So, while getting off the highway out in kanata, I spewed oil EVERYWHERE, and it went through the exhaust and caught fire. There were flames about 8 feet high, coming out of the tailpipe, and under the hood was smoking. Talk about scary.
Anyways, to make a long story short: I got it all fixed (no engine damage), and got said unnamed company to pay for it all.
This brings me to my point of telling you guys this: I'm not going to do ANY engine mods to the civic AT ALL. I'm going to let it become the wife's car. Instead, I'm going to buy a 1998-2001 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS, and swap in an 02+ WRX engine (EJ20T). I found a place in toronto that sells the engines for cheap.
way cheaper than swapping in a K20A!
anyways, that's my story.
On a side note: if someone wants to buy my KW coilovers and enkei RPF1 rims off of me (in the ottawa area) for a total of $2500, lemme know. I bought the rims for $179USD each, and I'd be willing to part with them for about $1000 CAD (maybe). No tires have ever been mounted on them.
Also, the coilovers were only on the car for 6 months. $1500 for those.
But, I want to sell them all together so that I'm pushed into buying the impreza. otherwise, I'll just run with the coils and rims for this autocross season.
fukk I hate cars now.

no turbo for the civic. I'll shift focus to the impreza.
but, I'm going to keep all the parts. when the warrantee runs out on the 'vic, I'll plop on the turbo
no major damage (thank god). and yes, I went back to said company and gave them hell. they refunded my money, which was great...had they not of refunded it, you would have heard on the news about an assault in my end of town
"MAN CHARGED IN ASSAULT" type thing

I dont understand, the SIR catches on fore so u decide to give it to the wife??
Dood, a WRX would be sweet, but what the hell is wrong with you, make up your mind already. First it was a K20 swap into the sedan. then u switched to the sir, then u decided on building a turbo for that. Now u want a swap and a WRX, whats next? an S2000 with a supercharger?
plus, you selling your **** way too expensive. or mabe i am just poor.
but all wheel drive is gonna be sweet

rofl sorry Tofast4me
hehehe
Player: no, the woman isn't behind this one. I decided not to plop on the turbo because we have an extended warrantee...and if I would have had ANY mod on the car AT ALL, I would have been ****ed by honda.
so, rather than worrying about modding the 'vic, I'm going to buy an impreza and turn it into a 100% project car. ie: roll cage, WRX engine, no interior, etc.
oh yeah, and NO, those prices aren't expensive. the coilovers cost me $2200 brand new...so $1500 for them is decent, considering they were only on my car for less than 6 months!
oh yeah, and the rims are dirt cheap too.
LilJoe: you'll never guess what? I forgot your phone number
hehehe
call me!

Tek, sorry to hear about the SiR, but congrats on the new project!
you still gonna be up for a Neuspeed spring install in April?

and I have yet to see the black SiR in Orleans... where you been hiding?!
