this is an OFFICIAL nintendo ds lite battery, not aftermarket. it's guranteed to be 100% compatible with the ds lite. i bought this as a spare for my ds lite but then ended up trading the ds for a wii so i don't need this anymore. it's brand new, it was never even installed in my ds. rechargable up to 500 times.
note: this battery was purchased directly from nintendo. i don't think you can buy this in stores. they only sell the aftermarket ones.
