Gauging Interest - My car for sale
I am thinking of buying my friends Celica but I need to sell my ride first, so I thought I would just throw this out there.
I was thinking of either parting it out and selling the car stock or the car as a whole.
Here are the details.
Let me know if you or anyone you know would be interested.
2001 Civic Coupe LX - Nighthawk Black Pearl, 5spd, Purchased new in 2002, Only 35K, Tons of warranty still left on the car. The car has been babied and well taken care of. Mint condition.
Upgrades: (Can be included or sold seperate)
18" Enkei RP07 rims with Falken tires 80%
15" Civic Sport 5spoke alloys with 90% Toyo Observe Winter tires.
Aero front and side skirts and 01/02 style rear skirt
Magnaflow Catback Exhaust
Injen Short Ram Intake
SiR front Seats
H&R Lowering Springs & Camber kit
Type S Shift ****
Projector Halo Headlights
Blacked out Stock Headlights
TYC Carbon Fibre Tailights
Thats all I can think of for now.
Thinking of selling Stock for $16,900 or Complete for $19,900

i kinda miss the 7th gen but we all go thru this in our life so make sure u come back here once in awhile with your celica (i still do even i drive a vw now)

Rep Power: 0 Thanks for showing interest guys. If I do sell the car I will be sure to let everyone know. I would prefer to keep all sales local around the GTA.
I will keep my fingers crossed this week when the ad comes out. Hopefully someone buys it from me so I can get this Celica.

yo man whats up. if ya dont remember, im the guy who met ya at weston and 401 for the carbon fiber stuff for my tv. (i dont think you mentioned your custom dash in the upgrades-looked amazing!)
anyways im interested in the springs and shocks (if you have aftermarket shocks) otherwise just the springs. also, interested in the body kit. shoot me some prices if you decide to part out. thanks man

nitehawk never said he was selling anything on his car YET. So why is everyone asking how much for this, how much for that, or will he ship? He might not part out the car if someone will buy it as is.
Anyways, back to the topic... trying to sell your car for $19,900 might be asking a little to much. I know you've probably spent a lot of time and a lot of money has been invested in modifications but honestly, those mods are worth almost nothing when trying to sell it on a used car. That's the kinda hit we tuners take... but hey, you never know... someone that's relitively new to the scene might buy it from you for that price. But then again, don't be suprised if you don't get what you wanted for it.

R1 - haha, its all good man. Its good to know there is interest and I guess it will all depend on how well I price everything out if I part out the car. The odds are I will have to go that route because like you said I think it will be hard to sell the car complete. Its a limited market and most tuners like to do things there own way.

now, by showing interests for his parts, it not only bumps this thread, but also helps him decide on the method of selling his car.
