If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: looking for transmission
Why replace a transmission if it just needs a clutch job?
Clutch you buy new. Never used.

The transmission was replaced before and they put the wrong transmission in they put a stock civic tranny in so it ate up all the gears. Its and Si so it needs and Si transmission

Re: looking for transmission
Maybe it was actually correct but someone forgot to fill it with lube or it leaked out, that would certainly ruin a trans.

Does the speedometer climb if you try to drive it? Does it make noises? Maybe it broke an axle or something (rust/salt belt problems).

Re: looking for transmission
Same thing happens if one breaks an axle, or an axle pops out of the trans......see where I'm going with this yet?
Have you actually inspected to see why it won't move, or did you just guess it needs a transmission and clutch?
