Rep Power: 296 Why even bother with a N/A build if your shooting for 300hp? It won't be done EVER. I'm sorry but it won't. You can say anything you want but no matter what **** you do to this motor, it won't happen. You might as well build for turbo.

Rep Power: 296 I did read, you said you would like 300hp as well like andy and supermex. But you never said you were going to turbo soooo....... I'll still stick to my statement and say you won't make 200hp on a N/A build. You can say you will till your blue in the face, but until i see it, i say it's not gonna happen. I don't see how your gonna improve 80-100 hp depending on the model.

Rep Power: 296 Thats fine you do that. I'll believe it when i see it. Plz logan proved what? That you said your still thinking about hitting 200 n/a? Exactly. So stop talking about how your gonna hit 200 and do it. 200 N/A. I've already talked to friends and they laughed when they heard 200 from our motors without nitrous or turbo. Sorry

Rep Power: 296 Dude, i have nothing against you. I'm just trying to get your to see it's not worth building your engine for N/A. Our engines don't like it. I would rather see you put hard work into the turbo and get results out man. I think you'd have a better time with it and would like the results alot better. W/e you do, i know you won't half *** it. Just trying to help earlier with the rods deal. W/e you do i back you for it.

Rep Power: 306 man, this thread went downhill fast... it's always the people with the least experience on the topic with the most negative comments.
as for the aem ems, if you read their website, it says you need to retain your factory ecu so that the multiplex functions will work, including your immobilizer, if youre doing an a/t to m/t ecu swap, you'll also have to do the immobilizer flash. just thought you might want to add that to your costs.

Rep Power: 399 There's no way you'll get a 1/4" overbore in there... there isn't anywhere near that kind of room between cylinders. If you're boosting it, stick with 75s, or if you have to overbore the block to clean up the walls, go for the standard .5mm rebuild overbore. You'll want as much sleeve in there as you can keep.
I think now you gotta slow down and pick a direction before you go any further. You're gonna want to break in the new motor without boost at first anyways, get the rings to seat and let the bearings break in some before you beat on it.
Slow down... one piece at a time here. If you're going boost, blow a stock motor and build a second one. Get a feel for it (and test your tuner's competency) before you go too insane and pop a built motor that you threw an assload of money into.
