Rep Power: 0 D17A1 Swapped out for a D17A (issues)
So my old engine (D17A1) was swapped out for a D17A with low mileage.
Now my car takes FOREVER to accelerate!
Once I get an ECU+Wiring Harness from an EX 01-05 will this solve my problem?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

I actually got an CEL. The code reads:
P2770
Definition:
Open In Torque Converter Clutch
Solenoid Valve Circuit
Probable Causes:
1. Open or short circuit condition
2. Poor electrical connection
3. Faulty solenoid

So...TCC solenoid was left unplugged (or broken)?

Let me get back to you in a couple minutes. Let me checked to see if it is plugged in correctly. Thanks ezone.
EDIT:
Okay so I checked and.. it seems to be broken off. I am uploading a video on youtube for you to confirm.

@:12 that blue thing was supposed to be stuck on a bracket somewhere
@:45 yes it appears broken off.... But where is the wire harness connector for it?
@1:00 is the VTEC solenoid wire

Clean off the area so you don't knock any dirt in the hole, and replace that TCC solenoid. And its seal.

Looks like that should be the one.
I hate it when different departments can't use the same dang name for a given item.

ezone you're a genius!
I'll post pictures soon.
Car's running good! NO more blinking "D".
The engine feels like my old engine with more kick! (VTEC not even wired yet).
Would you rather get the APEXI VAFC II to control the VTEC? Or should I get the EX ECU+Wiring harness? What do you recommend?
Thanks for helping out bro!!!
