Rep Power: 0 98 Civic EX.............B18c Engine Swap!!!!!
So I came to the conclusion that I want to swap out my D16Y8 for a B18c. I don't know much about engine swaps. If anyone can tell me what i would need to make this swap possible, I would really appreciate it. I would also like to know if it will be a pain in the ***? Thanks!!

since you don't know much about engine swaps It will probably be a pain in the ***.
I've only worked on D16s and D17s so I can't give you exact info but I'll give you a few topics to check up on and most of them should be in the search function.
you'll need to know if the stock wiring harness and ecu are both used in the two engines. If the ECU's are different then you'l have to see if you can stll use the stock wiring harness or if that will have to be replaced.
you'll have to see if the stock engine mounts will hold the B series. if not then can you use B series mounts in the engine bay for your D series or will you need custom/aftermarket mounts?
Will the stock drive shafts/brakes assembly mount to your stock suspension?
will you need a more aggressive cooling system for the DOHC engine?
will you need to swap out your sub frame?

Re: 98 Civic EX.............B18c Engine Swap!!!!!
You Need the following:
B series motor, trans Complete
B series mounts for EK
B series header
B series shift linkage
B series axles
Correct ECU for engine
B series rad hoses for EK
All Above ^^^ can also be found/bought for a 99-00 SI civic as it came equipped factory with a B16a2, except ECU and distributor, which is an OBD2B ecu. Jumper harness from OBD2a chassis to OBD2b ECU could be used if using this ECU and running OBD2, and OBD2a harness to OBD2b distributor.
Jumper harness for OBD2a Chassis to OBD1 ECU and OBD2a Harness to OBD1 distributor ( ONLY IF RUNNING OBD1)
The engine harness will plug and play, a couple sensors might need to be extended to reach the plugs on the B series motor.
