D17a2 Intake Manifold?

I have heard of people doing a d16 manifold swap but i am curious to know if any one has found an aftermarket intake manifolf for the d17 that is capable of boosting with out getting it custom made or if there are more suitable options with the d16 manifold?

Re: D17a2 Intake Manifold?

KMS made a run of 10 intakes for the D17, one other company made a small run of manifolds as well but I forget the name. Both companies are still willing to make them for a small fortune and going that route or waiting for a used one to pop up is basically your only option aside from the D16y8.

The D17 has basically no aftermarket support, even Dezod stopped manufacturing turbo manifolds for them.

So what (if any) manifolds are compatible and do they make a horizontal one rather than a vertical one

D16y8 like mindbomber said.. but it does require a bit of modding to get it to fit, if my memory serves me correctly

Usually the aftermarket d16y8 manifolds won't work, so stick with a ported stock one or contact Gerry at JDMFabtech and he'll make you something for a price.
