Rep Power: 0 AEM EMS.......You learn something everyday
Ok so my car was at the paint shop for the past to weeks and I go to pick it up and it would start. So I check the battery and found out that they either left my lights on or my door open and ran down my battery. They tried to jump start my battery and that didn't work either. So figured it had to do with the AEM. Basically if your battery runs down and you try to jump start it the EMS calibration erases for some reason. So for me the story only gets better, because the place that I got my car tuned at is out of state and we never downloaded my calibrations to my computer yet. So I call the guy who tuned my car and asked him to send me the calibrations and with the help of Misterpho7 I finally got the calibrations. We go BACK up to the bodyshop download the calibrations and the car still wouldn't start. We checked everything and everything was ok. So we unplug the AEM and plug up my stcok ECU and the car started but would go past 2500rpm because of the 550 injectors. The only thing that could come to my mind was that he sent us the wrong calibrations, we call him back and guess what he did.
He sent us the RIGHT calibrations and YES CAR RUNS!

Rep Power: 272 Not true, your box is f-ed up then. I have taken my box out, killed the battery, jumped it, and had it on the charger. Every AEM box is designed not to erase due to loss of power, it says so right in the 1 million page acro-instruction manual.
