Good quality shop to do an alignment, S. Suburbs?
My steering wheel is off by about 1/4". I've never hit any curbs or other objects, so it really sucks that it's gone out of whack.. but it still needs to be re-aligned.
The dealer I go to does not do alignments, so I am looking for recommendations for a good shop to bring it to so I can get it done right the first time. I've gone to NTB in the past with a previous car and was not happy at all with the quality of service. They are basically on my 'will never go back to' list.
The car being fixed right is the top priority, but other things really matter to me also. The tech washing his hands before getting in my car, cover the seat if your clothes are greasy/dirty, being careful to pull in without scuffing a tire or wheel, careful about opening the doors into things ect.. MOST places seem to have $6/hr people who do not care about the job they are doing or the cars they work on.
This is what I want to avoid!
I am in Oak Forest, so anything S. or SW burbs is prefered. I will travel if needed, to get good quality work/service.
Any suggestions?

i live in oak forest also and i brought my car to goodyear/levin tire on route 30 and cicero in matteson (just east of cicero on the south side of the street). they did a good job but they tried to sell me a camber kit b/c my right rear wheel supposedly is off which could cause tire wear so they said. but i didn't buy the camber kit, my car is only lowered 1 inch so that really shouldn't effect the camber that much to need a camber kit, and so far there has been no camber wear on that tire at all. i have dark gray interior so its fairly hard to make dirty, and they did not put any dings in my car either. i went to ntb on cicero with my past car also and i was not very happy with their service either.

Yeah, that one in Crestwood on cicero is the one I had past work done at it. No desire to go back there again.
Thanks for the good review of Goodyear/Levin tire in Matteson.

I haven't been there myself but Spitfire in Oak Lawn was recommended to me.
When I first lowered my car, I took it to this place in Frankfort called Tire Tracks. They did an ok job on the alignment but when I took my rear wheels off to adjust the height, I discovered that they didn't bother to unhook the brake line from the camber kit turnbuckle during the adjustment. The result was that the rear brake lines were wrapped around the upper linkage.
I wouldn't recommend them...
