i hate to say it, but it shouldnt be suprising that only 1 person showed up...

I was busy this past weekend, just like most weekends in the not snowy seasons. Even if I wasn't busy, what is there that would attract people to a Civic meet? A bunch of guys just hanging out looking at other civics?
If you want a successful group gathering, maybe schedule some fun activity. A group drive to a certain destination.. maybe up to WI, MI or somthing.. Go-karts, meet at a resturant, bar, drag strip... Give people a reason to come out! I like going to the local race tracks (41, 66) so if there was going to be a meet out at 41 I'd certainly try to make it. Plan an activity... I can go stand around in a parking lot and look at other average, common cars anyday, anywhere. Not to bash our cars.. I like them obviously, but we aren't dealing with exotics here.. meets need to have somthing enjoyable to draw people.

nope they're on the archive cds in the closet someplace. But yea I remember those where a few of us met up in oak forest and drove down. The at hooters there were cars all over the parking lot. Remember the ep/em double meet? man i miss that.

Rep Power: 0 dude keith, you're just as bad as the other guys on here I think. Not to be a ****, but I still have the m3 lip waiting for you since the last meet and I've had a million people ask me for it. And you didn't show either.
I guess I just don't get why people wouldn't want to come out and hang out for a while. If it gets boring then we can go do something. We've always been open to all options, but noone wants to start anything becasue people say they will go and never show. I guess it just goes to show that people don't give a ****. Plain and simple!!

dustin, i know i'm a bit shady too but wtf... i will attend the meets if i say i will but as for the lip... if your in such a hurry i guess just sell it to someone... if you wait i will pick it up. i told you that ive been caught up in a lot of things. didnt mean to have you holding that lip for sooo long, i really am going to pick it up if your stil wanting to sell to me.

Thats been the story the past few times I've tried to meet up with ya or get you to call me and let me know when you'll have the $35 for the lip. I just don't think you should be the first one on all these threads complaining about people, when you fall into the same category. Just my opinion, but whos to say I'm right anyways.

Rep Power: 812 i just didn't feel like driving 6 hrs for the strut bar and car cover. gas alone would cost $40. now if there was an actual meet, ya I'm always making the trip.
