help installing fog light

help installing fog light

I bought the oem replica kit from ebay and looking for people in chicago area to help me install it if you can...
i went to some auto shops today, either they are too expensive (close to 100) or they don't it at all...
maybe someone know a good place to install it? or somebody install it for me at their place... i'm willing to drive to your place in Chicago vicnity...

Its realy a piece of cake to install. At least it was on mine.

Did yours come with instructions?

i installed the replicas before and the directions arent all that great. plus, mine didnt come with the cut-out for the bumper where you're supposed to cut a hole to fit the fogs in. its not all that bad, just takes time...

i got the instruction for the real oem one, but no template and i don't have any tools to cut out the bumper...

dremel w/ cutting disc is your friend

I would suggest running the wiring harnesses first to get them out of the way. Then you can focus on mounting the lights.

Just do it youself, it's easy.

Just take off front bumper.
Make precut for fog light outlet, run the wireharness through firewall.
Connect the wireharness plug.

Bam, you are done.

For cutting outlet for foglight, just use dremel tool.

Is it realy required to take off the front bumper? I didn't have to with mine but my fender is slightly different.

no but itd prob be easier to do having it face up to you instead of working on your side
