... and they are "frickin'" awesome!!! i've never had tints before and i think it looks badass. damn i wish i had pics sooner... but ill post em up in like a day or so. if anyone wants tints, the place i went to does a pimpass job for 170.
here's what i got:
rear - 5%
rear/side - 5%
driver/passenger - 20%

now im just paranoid about getting pulled over... which will be prolly sometime today.

i just want to know if those "dot" looking things around the window will be hidden once the tint cures or whatever. those things are annoying me...

meh, i just had to go to court for having tints. try not getting caught. the dots are supposed to be there on the window. i'm assuming you're talking about the ones on the back window right? if you dont wanna see them, some tinters put a black vyinal strip where the dots are so you cant see them.

wow keith thats a bit high for 5 window tinting...maybe should have shopped around more...is it a film or did the windows get dipped?

adam: ****... everywhere i went quoted me 190+ for 35% all around. some were even as high as 220 for just 35% *cough*mobile concepts*cough* eh anyway i thought i got a pretty good deal plus he did a great job so i wont really be that picky on what i paid. yea when i got there i was looking at the 35% but i was like it didnt look like it was going to be dark enough for me so that why i got 20%. they actually look like 5% cuz the car is so dark. but it looks nice. i can wait till tomarro... so i can finally open my windows.

i did mine at mr. kustom on iriving park road
i think it was on sale.. $200+tax.. but i've heard other people get a cheaper price than that...
they mostly do trucks though

i went to tint fx here in des plaines. they originally charge 180 for 20% all around but my coworker got me a hookup price for 160 and i upgraded to 20% sides and 5% rears for $10 more. so in total i paid $170. he did it pretty quick too (2 hours)and the tints look awesome.

oh it wasnt a 7g? oh well...i dont remember..anyways i pulled apart my spare set of headlights, and masked off the reflector...gonna paint em tomrorow and put them back together when i get a chance
