Question what are favorite streets/drives/expressways to cruise on? which do you avoid

in the chicagoland area....

mine:

lakeshore drive (not during rush hour). gotta ticket a while back on their for speeding 10 over the limit, i went to traffic school.

mccormick (sp?) blvd. i don't take it now though 'cause the construction they've got going on their right now though.

i'll think of more...

btw, for the people with big wheels 17" and up, what streets do you avoid all together? lsd has some shitty bumps.

yeah the I 55 by Cass Ave all the way to weber rd. Each day on the way from work around 10 pm I see people race or doing over 100 mph.
There is just one spot you have to watch out for by the truck weight station and under the bridges but other wise Full GO.
Very good spot is between lemont ave and Rt. 53

so far ive been doing runs on the underground section of wacker drive. which heads straight to the 294/94 barely any cops *knock on wood*

im also running on evnaston's sheridan road. love the curves over there. cant do nothing faster than 50 or get f@ked

i also use the lincolnwood mall "road" for some nice grip driving. i ve done the entire "road" at about 65, any faster and your risking it.

i just use 94 wisconsin, beginning from downtown. go up to 100 quickly.

Go Speed Go

I personally like the section of I-94 between the first toll after Lake til Great America. There is a lot of open road late on the weekends. I also like I-88 heading West around Aurora.

I know I-355 is the worst. Whenever I drive on that there is always a camaro state car on the side waiting to get someone or already writing out tickets. That Highway is for super troopers

another good one to mess around on is the industrial drives behind the Carmax on Golf. i test drove a civic hatch w/B16 behind there. I dunno about cops there at night so don't do anything relatively stupid...

Lower Wacker, it is so fun to bust down that road and haul *** becuase of the turns and such. Got to have good reflexes and an even better foot-eye-hand cooridination to make good down there.

It is kinda funny you bringing up lower wacker. I was out with the delivery driver from work yesterday and 2 cars, a cab and a zx2 were flying down lower wacker. The cab decides to move over without checking his blind spot and knocks the zx2 in a pole head on. No one was hurt but it was really messed up to see.

I also love the S-curve near the Drake on LSD. That is the best to check out how much grip you actually have on your car.

ha, i run that seridan area also 'cause i'm not far from their. i don't like the bumps though on that sheridan/evanston area.... there are parts i speed up on and parts where you'll see my break lights

otherwise, mccormick (that street near licolnwood i think you're talking about) is fun... they just finished the construction up their. as soon as i turn on that road, i love it.

LSD is my favorite but I never go fast on it. Too much risk. 5 over is the max I go.

Well if you're looking to run somebody, go down to Peterson Ave. Anywhere from Peterson & Western up to Peterson & Cicero, almost all the lights, there is always somebody that wants to run you. Its a really notorious street
