Good luck with it. Sounds awesome already, though.

Also can you get an clip of the engine running, revving, and same at the exhaust. always wanted to hear these things, but never have yet. If not don't bother, but thanks.

I wonder what kind of AF ratio you are getting with the injectors. try letting it idle for a while then pull a spark plug and check it out.

no idle problems at all the car was running to rich with stock "vtec" engagement so i set it at 3900 with 80% throttle and that smoothed things out i have the type s injectors in right now i might change back to stock... the only reason i am keeping them in is for the spray... i want to dyno the car so i will probably get tuned while i am there but im not going to bother with the vtec controller i will most likely get the emanage first i want to be able to do some timing adjustments not only for the cam but also for the spray

if you are expecting to just put the cam in and have it be insane thats not going to happen i haven't felt the full experience yet because the assembly lube is probably slowing things down a bit ill see what i can do for a clip tonight at the races ill keep posted

mota you honed your throttle body yourself? or did you buy it

so you have no problems with idle...that is amazing!! also i know that you can change vtec engangement...but i didnt know that you can change how much throttle it takes to engage it.

so let me get this straight you are running just a vafc2 with the stg2 cam and springs/retainers and you dont have any idle or drivability iussues at all?? it doesnt want to stall at a light? that is interesting considering everyone else that has tried has run into those problems. so what are you going to do about the rev limiter? you are missing out on a lot of power with out the 8k redline. this is what has made me put my project on hold. well besides the fact that i bought a 96 integra that i am building but is now almost toast due to a blown motor. so now i ahve to put this same project onhold until i atleast get that running right with a new motor or rebuild

true you cant take fuel out with the vafc2 only add. so i would also assume that he is running pig rich.

You can take fuel out with vafc2. you can also add. these adjustments can only be done a wot (or close to wot) IMO i don't think the vafc2 can adjsut enough to compensate for rsx s injectors.

i am not completely awake yet i just realized what i had typed as well. i meant to say you cant decrease the fuel enough using the type s injectors with the vafc2 to get an appropriate air fuel ratio. i think i need to go back to sleep

yeah he is way rich with just VAFC II, I was running about 10.5:1 with my vafc II and 330 injectors. Its alot of power to gain with proper tunning.
