BR-3 Meet... November 16, 02
Alright, heres how we find out who the insane 7thgen owners are! This will also be known as our first Azusa Canyon Run Meet. 
EVERYTHING IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. I'm not trying to look for a grips of people to come. Maybe 5 civics or so. We're gonna take a run up GMR in Glendora and go up through the mountains. The roads are open right now but my friend's gonna take a run through there thursday or friday to make sure everything is cool. The date is next saturday because many of the owners have requested that day. hmmm...heres the route we're gonna take. Make sure you know what you're doing! and Drive Smart!
As you can see there are many twisty turns and dont push yourself too hard since you do have a civic....If someone is tailing you just let them pass and take it at your own pace. Its not a race or anything, just a friendly run through the Azusa Canyons. There MIGHT be a chance the run will be on sunday but so far most people want saturday.
BTW i have my s2k socal friends leading the run up there. The run is always in the early mornings because the run takes about 2-3 hours or so because we take pics up at the top and chill/talk. Afterwards everyone is gonna get lunch somewhere. I'm hoping there is no rain, if there is rain then its cancelled. Its just too dangerous in the rain.

For those who are goin on the run, what kinda suspension do you have? 18s for danny...dang! haha i hope you guys have at least springs and good grip. i know the p7000 should be sticky but your ride's gotta be stick too haha. If you dont have much suspension done dont be pressured to gun it threw the canyons or else you'll be off the cliffs in no time(that is fly off the cliff) I can show you guys an S2k who drove off the cliff in a amateur video from some canyon runs last year. Not a pretty sight.
Just remember take it easy on the roads and watch out for any oncoming cars, hikers, or bikers. Aiite hope to see you guys there. Jeff

Rep Power: 0 One life to live man gotta live it, and i know those canyons like the back of my hand, i have been through there well over 100 times, We party up there almost every weekend, well back in High School at least. And if that huge wing is good for anything its that, keeps my azz end on the ground.

Rep Power: 0 Hey man no prob for the help, and I aint about to show off, the wing wont help my land after i fly off the cliff, and to let you know, the Gate at the beginning of Glendora Mt. Rd. is still closed and locked, went there today, but Azusa Canyon is up and running, went up there instead, so let me know what gonna happen with this run if that gate is still closed Saturday.

Rep Power: 307 the gate is probably closed cause of the crazy rain this past weekend, if its still closed i know the s2k guys will have a different route ready and maps printed out. Looks like i wont be taking the turns too fast...my braking isnt great right now...4mm left in the front and 3.5mm in the back which stock new is 12mm(front) and 10mm(back) 
I'mm try to get new pads and rotors resurfaced before saturday hopefully. Honda wants to charge me 150$!! [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG] so i gotta go find a cheap place.

This is from my friend Duc off of s2k Socal crew:
"This Saturday the 16th is the BR-3 GMR run. We are meeting at 7:30 AM at the same AMPM as the Prerun.
Take the 210 exit Grand and go north. AMPM about a mile up the road on the right at a corner. The Grand exit is between the 605 and the 57 on the 210.
Leaving for the run at 8 sharp and meeting back at BR and drive to BDP for lunch. For those of you who did BR-1, we are doing GMR in the reverse order and then up Azusa Canyon to the look out point.
Need volunteers to lead the advanced, intermediate and beginner group.
Depending on how many people we have we may have more than one group of the same skill level.
Please sign up here if you plan to attend and specify what group you would like to be in. As usual this should be fun. I just ask that we are all careful and please don't try to keep up with the person in front and not to be intimidated by the person behind."
I'm gonna sign all of us Civic guys for the beginner group so we can all stay together and not budge in too much with the s2k canyon group haha. Get your rears down, get some gas, and get heavy on the pedal guys! Can't wait!!
