This weather makes me wish I had a convertible...
Hmmm, maybe I need to get the pony to the track one of these weekends to see what it will do when it isn't 110+ out...
I should do it before the 4.10s go in next month...and then after I get those broken in...ah...I like not 100 degree days....

this really pisses me off...
A Phoenix police officer died Saturday after his patrol car collided with a pickup driven by a suspected drunk driver.
Authorities said Officer Shane Figueroa, 25, was responding to a series of “shots fired” calls about 1:22 a.m. when a white truck turned in front of his patrol car on 19th Avenue near Roeser Road.
The impact spun Figueroa's vehicle and sent it crashing into a block wall. He was pronounced dead at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center.
A 28-year-old male passenger inside the truck was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The truck's driver, 50-year-old Jose Rivas Gonzalez, was treated for minor injuries and booked into Fourth Avenue Jail on suspicion of manslaughter and aggravated assault. Police said Gonzalez was also booked on four outstanding warrants but details were not available.
Jerry Sheridan, chief of jail systems for the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, said deputies placed an Immigrations and Customs Enforcement hold on Gonzalez. During questioning, police say Gonzalez told them he was an undocumented worker from Mexico.
The crash is under investigation. In a written statement, Sgt. Andy Hill said there are “a number of factors critical to this investigation that will be determined by lab tests and mathematical calculations.”
Figueroa, who served less than three years on the force, is survived by his wife and 3-month-old child. His father is a retired Phoenix police officer.
“This is a tragedy, not just for us,” Phoenix Police Chief Jack Harris said. “We will do everything we possibly can to assist his family.” Harris said four Phoenix police officers have died this month, either from illness or in the line of duty.

New Arizona law that takes effect January 01, 2009...
License Plate Holder Law-
State law A.R.S. 28-2354(B.) requires that the state name at the top of Arizona license plates must be visible. Any license plate holder or cover that prevents the license plate from being clearly legible, is in violation of this new law.

We almost got stuck in Durango with the xterra so now we are looking for a 4wd. Almost bought a cherokee last night but I don't think I like it. I think I really like my car. Going to look at a Land Rover Discovery tonight. Dallis are you working Monday. Probably going up snowboarding that day.
