Had some fun against an old *** accord
I was driving home from my dads fathersday and as i was going down the highway (494) at about 70 (average speed of traffic on this road) i pass an older accord. You know the boxey ones like 92 or so. It was slammed with some 16-17 chrome rims and a fart can. He decides to keep up with me. I normally am totally against racing on the highway but i just installed my VAFC and just had to see what it could do. Yes i bit the apple.
We exit off 495 to 270 and traffic in this area is really thin and i am behind him. by a half a car length. I hear his can bust *** so i floor it as well and cut over to the HOV lane as he cuts to the lane next to it. I just start pulling as my VAFC kicks in and before you know it i am next to him and then i am passing him and then i have him by a car length at about 90 and let off the gas. Never got out of 4 th gear. he looked at me like WTF. hehe.
I have never won on the highway before becuase are cars are so slow on the highway starts, not bad for stoplight starts but running starts are cars use to suck, until the working VAFC!!!!!!! I am so damn happy with the D17 now. it has so much potential now.

have you ever installed a system in your car. same thing if you follow my DIY. Very easy. but if not then I would take it to a tuner shop that specializes in Imports and hope they can do it. some won't touch it do to the warrenty and all. pussies. There is a place here in VA that will do it for like 80 bux called Car Trenz. So a place like that may do it. I know your in GA though, i am just giving you an example of a place that may do it.
And remember if you can't believe in yourself then you will never acheive greatness. lol

well lets put it this way, considering i couldnt install a vtec light by myself...theres no way in hell of me doing this. i could take it down to nopi in atlanta but thats a lot of gas. there may be a shop here that can do it. i guess i could just print the DIY and hope a guy i know can do it for me. i can install almost any bolt on, intake, whatever. just cant do **** with electrical systems.

yes your best bet is to print the DIY and take it in. No one has this but i just sent it to APEXI today so maybe they will have it soon. But i haven't heard back from them yet.
Red dragon took the old DIY to honda a while ago and they did it for him. And that DIY was partially confusing and wrong in someparts if you don't read it carefully. But i cleared up all the messes and made it simple so any experienced tech can figure it out now.
Good luck!!!!

you could velcrow or screw it down in front of that little pocket behind the cup holder. hell, ive never really seen one in person, but would it not fit in that little pocket with little or no mods, or is it bigger than im thinking?
Damn this was in Germantown, and I was on 270 yesterday. Im in Bowie right now, my hometown birthplace to visit my parents. Also, I have a conference this week. Too bad I dun have enough time here in Maryland or we could start a meet.

it is so you can change the ratio of air and fuel. If you are running to rich you can change it. Or you can change the ratio for when you are racing, it is a handy little device to have. VAFC does the same thing but you can also choose to change where the VTEC starts instead of where it starts out of the factory.
