I like Z06's!...
I like Z06's!... I've told my friends this several times, but not on here, so here it goes. I was at an intersection in my bone stock 2001 LX Sedan, and a nice, clean, black 2003 Corvette Z06 is next to me, and as I was pulling up I could see his rear tires were, um, kinda low on tread 
Anyway, so we were sitting there for a few minutes, and he starts revving his engine, so I roll down the engine so I can hear it more, and it sounded perdy :devil: I'm not a stupid ricer, so I wasn't even thinking of trying to race my favourite car of all time, the Z06, so I just sat back an enjoyed the show. He was really on it, right before it went green, he was really giving to that 5.7L LS6, 405 hp monster, he dumped the clutch, and let loose! I stayed back cuz there was a good amount of smoke, I did up my windows cuz I didn't want the smell to get in, but it was awesome, that engine sounds like a monster, and I thought my ears were gonna bleed, I loved it 
Anyway, he must have layed a strip for a good 50 feet or so, it was nice and thick, very nice. Anyway, needless to say he took off on the highway, with me just cruising at 110 km/h, man that car is sweet. Anyway, even though I wasn't even thinking of racing him, I got owned

Umm... Z06 cant compare, but you didnt really get owned.... but glad you got such an up close and personal view. There is a vid of a Lingenfelter (spelling?) Vette vs. a 13 sec DSM. It's deinfately worrth looking for... awesome vid if you love Vettes

Rep Power: 0 the vette in the vid only has the lingenfelter head kit and exhaust on it i think, it says at the beggining of the video. i have seen both the TT vette and the TT 427 AWD s-10 they have casue the shop is like 20 min from where i live and they were going to the local track here. once i rolled up to a kid in a Z06 with exhaust, the kid was about 21-22, still in college, and i ask "is that yours?" he says "yeah, my dad drives a ferrari 360 modena" i was jelous to say the least.
