my 2001 civic ex vs 2000 civic si
last night on the way home i was behind an si at a stop light. He keeped on trying me, so of course i went after him. i started behind him and in no time i started pulling on him, and once i pulled about a front bumper infront of him, he decideds to slow down and tried to tell everyone that i lost. This has happened to me about 3 times already. i would start behind them and then pull up next to them and once they see i'm about the pull ahead they slow down, so they can say they won. has this happened to anyone else besides me.

Rep Power: 339 maybe if it was BONE STOCK and urs was modded up the YING YANG, and his radar detector went off... just before u start pulling on him... but some how i doubt this is the case....
what color was it? i bet it wasnt even an EX, but it probablly was a DX done up to look like an SI

I've beatin a 91 supra twin turbo with my civic ex......
But than i think his car broke down or sumthin while he was racing me.... but a win is still a win..... and this win was at street races too...
Anyways... i give him benefit of the doubt..... but normally an SI
will ripp a new one into a 2k1.....

Rep Power: 0 Man i believe that you beat an si....because I have. Me and the dude raced from a dead stop till about 85 and then shut down. I beat him by like 2 car lengths only because he sat there and spun at the launch. Add more details next time and you won't get the BS flag next time. What mods do you have, what visibly could you see/hear (intake)?

Rep Power: 0 I give you a thumbs up on that, mainly because if it was a stock Si, it isn't all that. People here, mainly the people that spent most their time on csi, believe that the Si is the baddest *** car out there. Granted, given enough time and money on the engine, it can be one of the most potent V8 killers and at the same time rely back on reliability and drivability. I have seen Si's eat up Cobra's and Corvettes at the 1/4 mile in Joliet, IL, but I have also seen Si's get eaten up just by other plain ole Civic's. In these races with stock to stock, or stock si to I/H/E 7th gen, it is a drivers race to me.

Thats interesting, because there is no such thing as a stock twin turbo 1991 Supra.

i have done hp intake, hp header, 2 and quarter pipping from header to exhaust. just to let you guys know, that u guys underestimate our cars. i have had alot of people say that our cars our fast. either u guys don't know anything about your cars or you guys just don't know how to race your car.

Rep Power: 0 well i know i beat a 99 or 00 civic ex by alittle both stock at the time, only diff was he had a passenger and i didnt. so i think that ex with si badges is kinda likely, or the Si was a pos or the driver is a pos. i dont like to hate on drivers too much casue they can not defend themselfs or whatever. and its not always hp that wins a race. here in DMI one of the quickest cars at the races was a ugly *** 3cylinder. i think it was called a swift or something.

Rep Power: 0 just on question, by any chance do u guys know how much horsepower the si has to the wheel. From what i heard its about 130-140. We have what 115-120. theirs not that big of a difference in hp.
