7thgen's Can Beat a Mustang....
Not really but I did!
Ok..so I'm drivin home in my Vic with my heavy a$$ chrome Neeper Titans (17's) and I see a blue 2001 Mustang, not a GT but still a Stang.
I pull up and it's some young cat tryin to act fly and ****....so I start to fawk w/him (as if I even have anything under the hood:_doh[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG]
I start to mash the gas and pull away even though he isn't trying to race...Yeah yeah, what a way to act riced out. But just got bored, Ok!
Anyway....at one point in time...this dude mashes his gas and pulls away from me like nothing.....I'm like oh fawk....he wants some now!
So we go at it, and of course I get my a$$ whooped. Oh well!
So we pull up to the next light (we really shouldn't race on public streets, but like I said....Oh well I was bored, "sorry") and I roll my window down and tell dude..."wassup man....do you really think I'm gonna win, I mean come on man, look at what I'm runnin and what I'm sittin on, "Chrome" ? And dude looks at me and smiles ( in a cool respectful way) and tells me "Nah man, I know you won't win"
So I say ok...let's hit it up for fun....
So we sit, and we wait, and we look for the green light......
"GREEN"
I mash my gas and off I go (slowly) and all I see out of the corner of my eye is this Blue Stang like str8 jumpin or somethin and I'm like I'm fawkin pullin away, WTF! I think dude had missed the gear or somethin, what happend I don't know, I just keep mashin it until I know I fawkin won. Woo Hoo....I beat a fawkin Stang.
Yeah yeah...I know...he should of whooped my a$$, but like Van Diesel said, "it doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile, WINNING IS WINNING!"
So what if the dude missed a gear or what ever....I still won...so add this to another victory for our 7thgens.

1. i dont do any aperence mods
2. i dont rev up to people on the streets
3. i only do performance **** to my car
4. i dont act like i know everything about cars
5. I dont put gay *** stickers on my car
any 8cyl stock mustang will take a stock civic or any other 4 cyl car
the only reason why ford made the 6 cyl mustang is to attract a female crowd who doesnt need the power
of the 8 cyl and like the looks of the car somthing that is more affordable they didnt make it fast peppy but
not fast that is the core reason i called it a muffstang

My best is 13.79 stock in my S2000. Yes, for the most part an S2000 will beat a stock GT. In fact, from a roll, it's no match... the S2000 walks all the way 2nd gear on.
hondguru is right as usual.
it's a driver's race for a Gt and S2k from a stop, but the S2k has an advantage.
