stick LX vs. auto EX
I don't know if this was already posted.. but for those of you who were wondering which of these carz would win here:
me:
2002 LX coupe stick/manual
three 10" in a heavy bandpass box
rest is stock
friend had:
2002 EX coupe auto
no sound system
SI rims
my friend kept on bragging about his extra HP, so i told him we should race... and i basically beat da crap out of him despite the fact dat my carz heavier ^_^

I sure wish my car was newer

Good kill, but you didn't really prove anything. Well, except that you can shift faster than an auto. It would only prove something if both cars were stock or modded with the same parts and had the same transmissions.

Why doesn't the race matter just cuz the cars have different trannies? It's just a race... he wasn't trying to prove anything, except to his friend.
And it also doesn't mean that he can or can't shift faster than an auto tranny. He could shift slower than the auto civic and he'd probably still win. He has a more agressive gear ratio since he has 5 forward gears to the auto civic's 4 forward gears.

I wouldn't necessarily call him heavier. The weight difference between the LX and EX is about 150lbs.
But nice kill anyway. I have yet to be beaten by a LX sedan...
