my fast can't hear the engine with all that yakkin
I'm on the freeway the other day in some stop and go traffic, when I notice a cobalt in the left lane. There's some guy driving, and he has a blonde girl in the passenger seat next to him. What was funny is that she was talking about a mile a minute, flipping her hair back, using little hand gestures, etc. Kinda like that annoying little cheerleader from the US cellular commercials or whatever where they get all these minutes and she's got this high pitched voice that makes you want to punch her in the head.
Meanwhile, the guy drivin the cobalt was pretty much emotionless and really didn't even look like he was paying attention. My guess is that he puts up with her "yakkin" because he probably gets to plow her every night. Though she was sorta ok lookin, but kinda had a butter face goin on.
Anyways, it made me laugh because it reminded me of that VW commercial, which is just hilarious to me. So i got this smirk on my face, and I look over, and he catches me looking and laughing. I try to play it off by turning up the radio, pretending I was listening to something funny. It seemed to work.
Cut to 15 minutes later, where we are on a free-moving highway with far less traffic, there is a car that pulls up to my right and then sits next to me. I look over and there's the cobalt. I pretend to ignore him, and he just keeps sittin there. I decide to speed up a bit, and he matches pace.
I move over because of a car in my lane and he eventually moves next to me again into the middle lane. I drop down to 5th (we're going 70). He downshifts and goes to take off, so I dump it to 4th and floor it. I made quick work of the cobalt (which I later see is an SS) pulling several cars on him to about 110. He then gives me a thumbs up (i was a little surprised, lol) and goes on his way.

Those cobalt SS's are kind of wussy for the amount of money they cost IMO. Nice overall car, but kind of expensive, and performance is sort of lackluster.
