Well today my friend called me with his v6 camaro and tells me lets race i took off my mufflers and cats. So i was like ok. I had already raced him and like i should i pulled extremely hard. Well tonight was a different story. We started from forty on the first run and he pops the clutch and i dont so lag got me but when i spooled i barely started pulling and then i passed him as i shift to forth and i let off because of the car in my lane. So i was like WTF just happened. So he is like want to go again. And its the same story except this time i don't catch up he starts to pull on me and he gets like 2 cars ahead then i barely start inching and inching but i was not going to pass him. I couldn't beat a dam v6 camaro with an intake. I got so sad but we stopped and talked and he was like what happened? i looked at my temp gauge and it was sorta up but not overheated. What do you guys think happened and do you think my headgasket is blown. I was boosting 8 pounds when this happened and this is embarrassing to me.

I havent gone from a complete stop just from a 40 mph roll. I know his v6 can hang with a lot of cars from a 40mph roll for some reason its so dam fast at the 40 start I have seen him take way faster cars for awhile then they pass him but i couldn't! I did it on the first try but the second i just couldn't pass him it was disappointing

from a roll i bealive you can get him..from a dig i think different...but yeah...**** happens.. just race him again and see what you are doing differently if you beat him once you should beat him again....do you feel anything different?? Lag?

The second time i felt major lag for some reason but then i couldn't catch him when it spooled the first time i felt very little lag and caught him pretty good and the time when we raced like 2 weeks ago i pulled on him hard i must have left him but about 8 cars or so. I think from stand still i could easily take him my car feels way faster from standstill then at a 40 mph roll

If you are not sure do a compression test/ leak down test.
Besides you can't kill em all. There is always some body faster just be gald you can kill unlike me(in my honda).
