I pulled up along side this kid with my girl and he was with another guy at a light in my good ol home town. We just looked at each other and let off normal at the light until we got to the next one.This light, I again look over and he looks back and we go off the light a lil quicker this time haha, but not full out racing. So at the third light, I look over again and when they looked over I pointed ahead of me and revved it up a lil......light turns green and I got a great launch but he didnt, ended up beatin him, shutting it down at around 85ish. The funniest part of this whole thing is that like after my launch, I get goin (and where we racin theres like ajoining streets that go in the same path that were headed, but off of different lights)and my friend Trevor comes flyin past me in his Sti from another street, I look over and I saw him laughin and bouncing up and down in his seat, funny as hell !!....he went up ahead and got off onto another street while I was pushing the top of second gear.

EDIT: did a lil research, the Eclipse = 200hp and 2910 lbs
Me = 160 (+i/h/e) and 2782

thats awesome. i wonder if my 02 ex can beat a newer eclipse. prolly not. both are auto he has auto stik. but i do have some advantage.... he doesnt have the gt or better, he has subs like crazy and he also has monster rims. so.... how much u think hed beat me by? heh

The Eclipse GTs seem kind of slow for the displacement and HP they're suppoesd to be putting down, I imagine its because of the weight and maybe poor gearing?
