Raced V6 Stang

Today i raced a V6 stang. He had 3 other passengers with him. I'm pretty sure it was an automatic and was stock. I have a m/t civic dx with only a couple of mods. He pulled up right next to me at a stoplight and just looked over at my car and was mugging me. I knew right there that we where gonna go at it. As soon as the light turned green we took off, i took the lead and kept it all the way. we raced till about 85 mph. On the next stop light all his friends and him where in shock. i reved my engine to see if he wanted to go again but he chickened out. it was pretty fun beating a stang even if it was only the V6 model.

hah yea its amazing how weight plays a huge role in racing. car with much more power and torq still lost

Nice. I beat one the same way. They just dont get it. Weight= slower acceleration.

Youre driving stick I assume? Auto Stangs are pretty slow, but 5 speed is ok but slow for the Mustang name.

I used to have a yellow V6 stang 5-speed with one of those mail order chips and exhaust that would race me every time he saw me comin. I beat him by at least a car and a half each time too.
