Reaction time?
Reaction time?
All I've heard is that perfect R/T is .500, but I went to Atco Raceway here in Jersey and R/T was .000. People wouldn't have a false start unless they had a negative R/T. one of the best times i seen was a .015, and it wasn't a false start? Anybody been there that can explain

I have not been there, but I think I can explain it for you. They use .000 as a "base' for a "perfect" reaction time. Bascially thier .000 = .500 seconds. So somebody with a .015 R/T on this track would have a real world R/T of .515 seconds. And a negative number on this track equals "red lighting" or leaving before the green. So a -.050 second reaction time on this track would be a real world time of .450, meaning they left .050 seconds too early (five hundreths of a second). Cat-fish? (simpsons humor there)

Yeah, it's exactly as he described it. Also what that means is instead of the time the last amber light going off starting the clock at .000, it starts the clock at -.500 and then hits .000 when the light turns green.
