Car crash
Light turned green, i go some kid runs a red light on a bike, he hits me. Now i dont know what to do. the police took the report, it was the kid on the bikes fault, do i have to pay my insurance deductable? i think its like 500 bucks, i need a new fender, dents removed from the hook and the bumper fixed(scratch) can someone with experience help me out, im 17 and this is the first accident i have been in

Rep Power: 0 well his insurance should cover it. Did you swap info with the guy and get his insurance company? Also let your company know what happened. I completely forgot about him having to pay, if he is at fault, then he has to be as decided by the cops at the scene.

Rep Power: 0 He's definetly going to be the one to pay. I wouldn't worry so much. Although Dust is right was it a bicycle cause if it was then your going to be at fault because you always have to yeild to them. But it don't sound like it was a bicycle. Just report it to the insurance and they should take it from there. And remember don't repair the car until the insurance agency takes pictures of you car, and take some for yourself.

Your in trouble!! Your in trouble!!. Nah I'm just kidding with ya. I really don't know who's fault it was, I mean I could say no and it could have been, Hey I wasn't there. If the report and the police said it wasn't then it shouldn't be your fault. But, I just always thought that cars had to yeild to pedestrians and cyclers.
