no it doesn't help with radiant heat you would have been better
off wraping the header to lower the engine bay heat then wrap the intake with a heat reflective material like this http://www.heatshieldproducts.com/pr...e-system/62/49 but even all this won't make any hp gains on this engine.

I just installed a Vibrant StreetPower flat black muffler and I love it. It's just loud enough to notice when I want to, but not loud enough that a cop would ever bother me about it.

I have a few lol. I like my stock sound, but it's just not loud enough for me. It sounds stupidly ***** quiet, and doesn't have a deep enough tone.

1) it's shiny, and 2) I just can't say no to a muffler that cheap and crazy looking. Worst case scenario, I weld it on, hate it, then cut it off and put it on my wall because I'm random

the sound really wont change that much with just the muffler. i had a dc sports muffler on my stock exhaust before the tenrai. sounded JUST like stock and maybe a TAD louder. if i was you id put some ebay exhaust and weld the twin loop on the end in place of the cannon.

I did say I wanted it for primarily for looks lol. I'm thinking I might just find a new pipe at a salvage yard, and go with that. Saves me a bit of money

You want a magnaflow oval not the potato cannon. I have a big oval one on my hatchback hidden under the bumper with a nice dual wall tip.

Let's put it this way, when the gay *** mustang guys with V8s up their asses are giving me compliments on how clean it sounds, that's when you know it sounds good.
