Looks great. Nice job.
that bay is so tight, that was a feat to get it to fit, let alone work.

Where did you get the guage cluster for the dash ? Custom ?

Awesome ride!
There's an 8th gen in my town that's got a nearly identical turbo setup. Sounds like a monster!

Yes they do I am expecting big gains from they're work, as well as this is the first R18 head they've ever touched. Thanks BTW

Really ? I would definitely be interested in seeing what some one else put down # wise. although if its an 8th im pretty sure its an SI(K20Z3) and not the base model ex,ex-l,lx,dx (R18A1)

I have not found any one in the US that has built an R18 only people i have come across are Russians (R18A2) with CP Pistons/Manly Rods and all running GT2860RS making 325 PS = ~ 300whp but all of them under 1 bar (~14 psi).

To my knowledge i am the first person to SLEEVE an R18, thanks to the help of Golden Eagle Manufacturing. Although it has just taken utterly and entirely too long of a custom project. But i do understand no company releasing a product till they are satisfied it meets their Standards. My plans are to run 1.5-3.5 bar (25-45psi) Maxing out the 5857 jb PTE Precision Turbo.

Nope, it's a Borrego Beige Metallic non-Si coupe. Next time I see it, I'll get pics and ask the owner about the specs. If I remember correctly, he had about 9lbs of boost and tipping 215-230 HP from his R-series. Pretty neat stuff!

I was wondering about that, I'm glad you mentioned it. Up until this thread I'd never heard of 4 piston doing an R18 head.

Haha hopefully once we get it up and running I'll be sending it back to 4Piston for CNC Port and Polish for some real gains!

Who informed you on my plans ?! going all black with everything, definitely hate that after 15k miles any anodized red is now fading to an orangish red. Decided to avoid all this by going black, discoloration is extremely difficult according to the people i spoke to at both a powder coating facility and anodizing.
