For the past week I've been prepping and painting my Kaminari lipkit and stock rims. I have orange peel on all everything because I didnt wetsand the last coat of clear, kind of afraid to. but hope you guys like it! tell me what you think! My next mod are HID, sidemarkers and tint. Here are some pics of the process till now!
Materials for the LipKit:
3 Cans of Sandable Primer
2 Cans of Bumper Coating
1 Can of Adhesive Promoter
3 Cans of Napa mixed NHBP
2 Cans of Clear Coat
400grit, 600 grit, 1200 grit, 2000 grit wet/dry sand paper.
Materials for the Rims:
2 Cans of Sandable Primer
1 Can of Red Caliper Paint
2 Cans of Flat Black Wheel Paint
2 Cans of Clear Wheel Paint
Steel Wool Sponge
600 grit, 1200 grit, 2000 grit wet/dry sand paper
Materials for the LipKit:
3 Cans of Sandable Primer

Woah, I got scared when I saw those spray bottles, I was bracing my self into looking at a horrendous paint job, but damn it totally shocked me. Wow. Excellent work dude.
Could you tell me the exact sprays u used for ur side skirts and front lip?

Lol I'm getting tint probably in the next month. I'm not sure what percent yet because IL laws wont let you have any in the front, but i'm thinking of getting it all around anyways, just gotta figure out how dark i can get w/o the cops bothering me.

I like it alot, but i'm not a fan of the rear lip though, i dont really like how it looks like a comb haha but the rear lip from the side looks good.

i have friends with really dark tint on the front windows and they are never bothered by cops. as long as you don't give them a reason to pull you over, you should be fine.

haha dude i bought the exhaust from you if you dont remember haha but yeah i was thinking 35 in the front and 20 in the rear

Yup, just walk into their paint section and give them your year, make, and model and they'll look up the paint code and everything. Depending on the color they have to make certain amount of cans. for NHB you have to buy sets of 3, so if you need 4 you have to buy 6 cans...
