Eg huh... if your going to go to a DOHC, then see if you can get an H22 for it, or go with the k20 or k24.
Heres some pics I took at an acura meet I went to, mostly tsx's and RL's and stuff. I added a few pics from others that went to the meet near the end.

for some TSeXiness, check out TSXdriver on ephatch.com... for a while, he had an EP and a TSX that he bought all the JDM/EDM goodness for, to make it an Accord Euro-R..
well, recently, he traded in his EP for ANOTHER TSX! Same color and everything...just another project!

i remember awhile back, you couldn't use the kpro on the tsx since it wouldn't work with the tsx's drive by wire and you would lose some of the digital functions of the tsx like the tire monitor system and such.
i might come back to honda if they put the k23 with the sh-awd in the tsx type S.

That's my dood! Its an 05 auto tsx, and that is the ONE year that hondata couldnt figure out how to crack and tune. What we ended up doing was swapping the ecu for an 04 auto tsx ecu and we got the keys reflashed to work with the imbolizer. Then after the week long install of the SC and cutting fuel lines and everything, the ECU was sent off to hondata for a reflash- comptech has it all figured out with them on the perfect tune. So no, its not Kpro, and yes its hondata. He does have every function that was on the car originally- EVERYTHING.
And yes, tsx will be in diesel and availb with a v6. Turbo diesel not too far out!

I'm glad it worked out for you.
how much power are you making?
The latest rumor was that diesel was going to be delayed with no time line on when its going to be released because the auto diesel couldn't pass emissions.
So they were offering a v6 as a subsitute.
I fear that the i-dtec will go in the way of a-vtec. Shelfed and never spoken of again.

yeah originally i wanted a turbo tsx, but i read they weren't as tuner friendly as the k20's. So i decided to scratch that idea.

well it was used 07 model. And I guess I get paid well but I really rather have a well tuned bubble than a ubiquitous 3series. But that's just me. That's why I decided to get another project n the tsx!

Clarification, its not my car- its my buddies, but I help out with all the installs and maintenance. I'll have to check with him how much he was dyno'd at last. I'm thinking about 280 to the wheels. He would be making about 20whp more if he didnt have an auto tranny- its kind of a downfall, but its cool with the sport shift

Correction: 225 whp and 172 tq. But, we replaced the cat with a random tech a few weeks ago and it is slightly more torquey and yielded some power gain. Havent got it back on the dyno yet, but probably will soon.
289 hp and 220 tq at the crank b4 high flow cat

Who cares about .25 mile numbers- he races his car at the track over at PIR. He focuses more on handling, suspension and useable power, not straight line power.

The quarter mile is generally one of the standards used to test a cars performance.
