can you help me find this part?
i need the piece that the spark plug wire cover screws into. i went to honda to order it and they gave m the wrong piece. they gave me the piece that goes on the back of the head that holds the wires there. if someone could help me to find the right piece, i would greatly appreciate it.

Yes, you need part #8.
Part #7 is the plastic piece behind the one you need.
Part #8 is the plastic channel that wires run down and have the little grommet things that your cover fastens to.

I guess it depends. Is yours completely missing, or is the part that holds the cover down just broken?
